HydrateIQ Privacy Policy

HydrateIQ (“the App”) helps you track daily water intake with optional reminders. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Data We Collect
- No personal identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, or account information.
- On-device data only: Your hydration entries, cup sizes, goals, and app settings are stored locally on your device via Apple’s Core Data.
- No tracking: We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
- No HealthKit: The App does not read or write HealthKit data.
- Notifications: If you enable reminders, we request notification permission to deliver local reminders on your device. No notification tokens or push services are used.
- Provide core features: Calculate goals, log drinks, show progress, and schedule local reminders.
- Personalize your experience: Settings like weight, activity, and cup sizes remain on device to tailor the experience.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
- No third-party SDKs process your data.
Data Retention and Deletion
- All hydration data and settings are stored on-device.
- You can delete all data by uninstalling the App. If you prefer an in-app reset, use Settings → Reset (if available) to clear local data.
Children’s Privacy
- HydrateIQ is not directed to children under 13. Parents/guardians can delete data by uninstalling the App.
Security
- Data is stored locally on your device. Keep up to date and use a device passcode for protection.
International Use
- We do not transfer or store data on servers; nothing leaves your device.
Changes to This Policy
- We may update this policy as the App evolves. The latest version will be available at this URL.
